Shivabalayogi MadrasShivabalayogi’s Mission:
Reduce Individual Tensions

“My guru has asked me to bring people into the line of bhakti [devotion]

“Swamiji’s mission in this country is to relieve you from tension and to put you onto the path of meditation.  Swamiji gives blessings to you all.”

“All Swamiji does is teach you meditation and asks you to practice it.”

“People should reduce their tensions and do their work well.  This is his blessings to the world.”

“It is Swamiji's intention to see where there is tension in the minds of people, and to go there and reduce their tensions, to bring them into the spiritual line.  Once they are brought into the spiritual line, their tensions reduce and they lead a peaceful life.  That’s what he wants to do in the world.”

“Swamiji came to teach and initiate people into meditation.  What Swamiji has learned, he wants to teach that to the public.  That is his purpose.”

“Swamiji will help you attain Self realization, to go nearer to God.  This is the duty he has come here to perform for you.”

“Swamiji has come to change the people.  They can remain in their religions but they can follow the right path.  People are already learning from Swamiji and many are changing.  There is nothing wrong in the religions.  You can belong to any religion.  It is the spiritual leaders who are bad.”

“You want to know the mission of Swami? Listen! To bring eight crore [80 million] people on the path of meditation throughout the world.  That is the mission of Swami.  See, before Swamiji actually comes on the stage, some of his devotees come and do the necessary ground work.  Then Swamiji does the main portion and whatever is left gets accomplished by the last batch of devotees.  Every time Swamiji has taken a human body, it happened more or less in the same way.”

Shivabalayogi idol“Swamiji is not starting a new religion.  Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva do not belong to the Hindu religion.  They belong to all the world.  There will be idols of Swamiji throughout the world.”

“Swamiji and his devotees are working not for themselves, but so that people can come to know God.  Swamiji has placed people throughout the world in positions to be able to help in his mission.  Now is the time when they can come forward and participate.  People will come forward and make major contributions to Swamiji’s mission.”

“There was Rama, Sita and Lakshman.  They had come to the forest.  Who was with them? They didn’t have anyone else with them.  Anjaneya Swami [Hanuman] came, Sugriva came.  Vibhishina came.  Some others came, and this way a group had formed.  It became a big force and it killed a mighty man, Ravana Asura.  They brought peace to the world.  That is it.  You all have come here from different directions to develop this.”

“Swamiji’s message is that people should come into the line of philosophy and they should make an attempt to understand people around them well.  So by doing this, they can reduce the tension that is existing between the people.  That will also help reduce the tension that is inside their minds.  For this, Swamiji gives blessings for all the people.”

What is Swami’s teaching?

“Dhyana.  Vibhuti.  Bhajans.  Bhava samadhi.” (Meditation.  Blessed ash.  Spiritual song.  Spiritual trance.)
