Shivabalayogi in Badrinath, 1986

When devotees visited Shivabalayogi when he was staying at the Dehradun ashram, he typically arranged for them to bathe in the Ganges River at Haridwar (see the Haridwar video) and to visit the shrines to Vishnu and Shiva in Badrinath and Kedarnath the Himalayas.

This video shows Swamiji taking devotees to Badrinath in 1986.  The scenes include some playful snowball throwing by Swamiji.

Shivabalayogi enjoyed visiting and having picnics in the Himalayas.  He often would pass into samadhi and totally lose ordinary consciousness and devotees would have a difficult time rousing him to be able to leave.
