Shivabalayogi at age fourteen after four months of tapas.

Sathyaraju, as he was known as a child, experienced samadhi at age fourteen.  He was eating a sweet palmyra fruit by an irrigation canal from the Godavri River.  The fruit began to vibrate, he heard the cosmic sound of Om, and he saw a black Shivalinga surrounded by a dazzling light.  From it emerged his Divine Guru, God in the form of Shiva, a yogi.

The Divine Yogi touched the boy, and Sathyaraju immediately passed into samadhi.
