The small shrine that marks the place by the Godavari River canal where Shivabalayogi was initiated into tapas.  Shivabalayogi was fourteen when God in the form of Lord Shiva manifested to him at this place.  The Divine Guru touched the boy at his third eye, upon which he immediately passed into samadhi, the state of enlightenment.  This was how and where Shivabalayogi began twelve years of meditation in samadhi -- tapas -- and this is where our collection of 2010 mahashivaratri photos from Adivarapupeta ends.
